TrackIQ Game: Pacing & Aero Strategy
Short 2–3 minute challenge simulator: Control power (W/S) and aero (A/D), use W′ wisely, and beat the TrackIQ ghost — faster AND more efficient.
How TrackIQ works
TrackIQ distributes your power along the course based on physics: extra watts don’t help equally everywhere. On climbs or into a headwind, they save much more time than at high speed on the flat or downhill. That’s why TrackIQ applies power where it has the biggest impact and backs off where additional watts yield little time gain — while keeping overall load comparable (Weighted/Normalized Power). With an intensity target and a cap on power spikes (relative to FTP/CP), the efforts stay manageable and you don’t waste W' on overly hard surges.
Tips for a high efficiency index
- Avoid frantic power spikes — ride blocks as steadily as possible.
- Use W′ only for short ramps/key moments, not continuously.
- Go lower in aero only if you can compensate for the CP penalty.
